How to make a crafting bench in Minecraft

Many people start their journey of with a crafting table and use it many times throughout your journey from start to end, though a crafting table is not needed to finish the game it is recommended as it makes Minecraft significantly easier to play. A Minecraft crafting table is very useful and cheap, it only costs 4 wook planks of any kind or a log and it can be carried around, a crafting table acts like a normal wood plank block but when placed down and right-clicked it brings you to a gui without your armor slots, off hand and your 2 by 2 crafting has been replaced with a 3 by 3 crafting grid which allows for more crafting potental. The inventory has a small crafting grid which can be accessed by press 'e', you should be able to see it in the top right of the gui and there you can place items to craft, though this crafting is very limited and getting a crafting table would be an upgrade allowing for the same crafts and more crafts then the inventory one, getting a crafting table is most commonly crafted in this gui by placeing four planks of any wood in each of the four slots and clicking on the crafting table end result to collect it. But how do you get wood planks, you can get wood planks from lots of areas such as trees, mineshafts, chests and buildings but the simplist is the first, trees, at the start of the game you should see some trees nearby but if you don't just keep looking till you find one, if you find yourself searching for a long time you may want to get a new world but once you do find one start punching the trunk of the tree by holding down left-click and looking at the block until it breaks. Once you break it you can pick it up and turn it into wood planks but going into the inventory and placing the log into the 2 by 2 crafting grid and clicking the wood planks to it's right to collect it and now you can craft a crafting table that will unlock many new crafts, have fun!
